This Cookie Policy explains how EstateFlow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on websites and web applications we operate (including app.estateflow.pk and related domains), and how analogous technologies may be used in our mobile applications. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What Are Cookies & Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs, and device identifiers used in mobile apps. They can be “session” (deleted when you close the browser) or “persistent” (remain until they expire or you delete them), and may be “first-party” (set by EstateFlow) or “third-party” (set by another domain).
2. Who Sets Cookies?
- EstateFlow (first-party) — cookies and storage needed to run our product sites and authenticated apps.
- Service providers (third-party) — only where we integrate tools (for example security, analytics, or authentication helpers) under our Privacy Policy.
- Agency public websites — content and any extra tags on tenant sites are controlled by the subscribing organization (see below).
3. Why We Use Them
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions;
- Remember preferences (for example UI theme or layout state);
- Protect against CSRF, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- Load-balance traffic and improve reliability;
- Measure performance and understand product usage so we can fix issues and improve features;
- Support optional analytics or marketing only where lawfully enabled.
4. Categories We Use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function. Examples: session/authentication cookies, security tokens, load-balancing cookies. These generally cannot be disabled through a consent tool without breaking sign-in or core product features. We rely on these based on necessity to provide a service you request.
Functional / preference
Remember choices such as language preference or light/dark appearance so the product feels consistent. Where required by law for non-essential use, we will rely on consent or appropriate soft-opt-in mechanisms.
Analytics / performance
Help us understand aggregate usage (for example which screens are used, error rates). Where required by law, non-essential analytics are activated only after consent or in a privacy-friendly configuration.
Marketing
Used only if we enable marketing pixels or similar tools on EstateFlow-controlled marketing properties. We do not use marketing cookies to sell your personal information. Tenant (agency) public websites may inject their own marketing tags; those are the agency’s responsibility.
5. Illustrative Technologies
The following categories and examples are illustrative; exact names and durations may change as we update the product:
- Authentication / session — keeps you signed in to the web app; duration: session or limited persistent period aligned with security policy.
- Security / anti-forgery — helps validate requests; typically session or short-lived.
- Preference / UI state — theme, sidebar, or similar local preferences; often local storage rather than cookies; persistence until cleared.
- Diagnostics — error or performance telemetry identifiers, if enabled; limited retention for operational use.
- Push (mobile) — device/app instance identifiers and push tokens managed via OS and notification providers (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging), not browser cookies.

6. Local Storage & App Storage
Our web applications may store data in browser local storage or session storage (for example persistence of theme or UI state). Mobile applications may store data on-device (including secure storage for session tokens where implemented, caches, and preference flags). This storage remains on your device until cleared by you, by the app, or by system cleanup. It is used to improve continuity of your experience and is subject to our Privacy Policy when it constitutes personal data.
7. Third-Party Technologies
Some features rely on third parties (cloud infrastructure, email, maps, authentication helpers, analytics, advertising platforms for integrations, or push providers). Those parties may set their own cookies or use SDKs on their domains or within the app under their policies. When you or your organization connect integrations such as Meta, tracking and cookies on Meta surfaces are governed by Meta’s terms.
8. Agency Public Websites
Agencies may publish public websites powered by EstateFlow. Content, additional scripts, and marketing tags that an agency adds beyond platform defaults are the agency’s responsibility. Visitors to an agency’s site should review that agency’s privacy and cookie notices. EstateFlow is not responsible for unauthorized third-party trackers injected by an agency.
9. Your Choices
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block, delete, or alert on cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login or other core features from working.
- Consent tools. Where we present a cookie banner or preference center, you can update non-essential choices there.
- Mobile OS settings. You can revoke notification, tracking, or storage-related permissions in system settings. Doing so may limit app features.
- Opt-out of marketing communications. Use unsubscribe links where provided or email contact@estateflow.pk. Cookie controls do not unsubscribe you from all email types; essential service messages may still be sent.
Global Privacy Control or similar browser signals: we will honor opt-out signals for sale/share of personal information where required by applicable law and where our practices would otherwise constitute a regulated “sale” or “share.” As described in our Privacy Policy, we do not sell personal information for money.
10. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technologies or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions. Material changes will be communicated in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy.
